Red Carpet Series had the absolute honor of attending and capturing moments from the Global Affair Benefit Gala, a powerful Pre-GRAMMYs 2026 celebration dedicated to raising funds for criminal justice reform, education, job training, and preventative programming.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael “Harry O” Harris and Carver Tee for having us and for producing such a meaningful and beautifully curated evening. The Global Affair continues to be a space where culture, impact, and excellence meet—and this year was nothing short of extraordinary.

An Evening of Honors & Impact

The night recognized an inspiring group of award recipients and change-makers who have made a global impact across music, culture, business, and humanitarian work, including:

  • Alice Johnson – Global Criminal Justice Reform Award

  • Swizz Beatz – Global Musical Impact Award

  • Mona Scott-Young – Global Cultural Icon Award

  • Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE – Global Enterprise Ambassador Award

  • Labrange Dobson – Global Cultural Shifter Award

The evening also featured a Community Spotlight, uplifting leaders and organizations doing important work on the ground, including Chrissy Dawson, Brittany Porgia, Adrienne Nicole Edwards, Judge Songhai Armstead, Elisabeth Weinstock, and Catina M. Johnson.

Performances & Vibes

Guests were treated to unforgettable live performances, including a special set by Shanice, who reminded us all why “I Love Your Smile” is truly timeless, and a high-energy performance by rapper Gambo Li, who kept the room buzzing.
